I help clients who want to experience more peace of mind but who feel stuck.  As a therapist with thirteen years of practice in the San Francisco Bay Area, I help clients move through difficulties, build new habits, foster self-compassion, and develop resilience amidst life's challenges.  

We are living in difficult times. It's easy to feel overwhelmed with information, the stress of our own lives, and the suffering of the world. We may feel ineffective in the face of it all. Many people also feel disconnected from themselves and others. It can be really hard to find time to reflect, connect, or recharge.

In therapy, we make time. Together we open up to what hurts and call upon and develop inner resources to find relief.  I believe that "attention" could be another word for love. Therapy works as we put our attention on what matters to you.     

Please note: I currently have a short waitlist. I can often begin therapy with new clients sooner if they are willing to schedule week-to-week to start.

My Approach to Therapy

Therapy with me is nonjudgemental,  empowering, and evidence-based.  My clients say I’m easy to talk to because I’m real with them. I am warm and patient, but I also like to “get down to business.” If you tell me you want to make changes I will remind you of your goals.              

I am not the kind of therapist who sits silently in my chair.
