I help clients who want to experience more peace of mind but who feel stuck. As a therapist with ten years of clinical practice in the San Francisco Bay Area, I help my clients move through difficulties, build new habits, foster confidence and self-compassion, and develop resilience amidst life's challenges.
We are living in difficult times. It's easy to feel overwhelmed with the daily onslaught of negative news and information. We may feel disconnected and ineffective in the face of it all. It can be hard to find time and space to reflect, connect or recharge.
In therapy, we make time. Together we open up to what hurts and call upon and develop our inner resources to find relief. I believe that "attention" could be another word for love. Therapy works as we put our attention on what matters to you.
My Approach to Therapy
Therapy with me is nonjudgemental, empowering, and evidence-based. My clients say I’m easy to talk to because I’m real with them. I am warm and patient, but I also like to “get down to business.” If you tell me you want to make changes I will remind you of your goals.
I am not the kind of therapist who sits silently in my chair.
